Coil, speedometer and its mount, rectifier, front brake lever and perch, have been installed. Getting new rear shock absorbers from Moto Italia next week along with some smaller misc parts. Will need to get battery put in the bike and filled, and then get to installing the wiring harness, making sure everything works electrical wise. Dropped my fuel tank off to get painted last friday, got it back this wednesday already.

Well I managed to break my top piston ring when I was installing the cylinder, DOH. Ordered new set of rings today, hopefully will have engine assembled and in the frame by friday, will have a handful of ready parts to throw at the bike then. Wiring harness has had the protective loom cut off, and the wiring cleaned up. Got new set of piston rings in, managed to get the cylinder installed without incident the second time around. Engine is now in the frame. Forks, front fender, steering stem have all been tightened up. Air cleaner, carb, oil tank, passenger footpegs, front brake perch, and swing arm have all been installed.

Reassembled engine for sandblasting the transmission case. Got the engine sandblasted along with the clutch lever perch, brake lever perch, fender mounts, exhaust. Got the aluminum engine side covers that use to be black sandblasted and polished up on my buffer. Also polished the aluminum perches. Carb has been rebuilt and sandblasted. Rear turn signals have been polished and cleaned and new flasher lenses installed. Will be assembling engine for final time next week and installing it back in the frame. Air filter housing as been cleaned and painted ready to be installed later.
