Ongoing Restoration

Next Up: Time ignition, clean and paint front exhaust pipe and manifold. Clean coil and mount. Polish clutch cover and install. Set adjustment on clutch and install clutch cover.

Got cylinder head bored for new 1st oversize piston kit. Cylinder painted. Head sandblasted. Carburetor rebuilt and sanblasted. Intake and carb mounted. Triple calmps and new handlebars isntalled. Brake and clutch perch and levers polished and isntalled. Ignition cleaned up, new points (condensor removed and will use universal one up near coil). Kick stand installed with new spring. Started cleaning/polishing fork legs.

 

 

 

Couple of pictures of bottom end sitting in bike frame. And yes the bike is being asembled in my living room for the winter as my garage is not heated.

 

 

Split Cases to replace all seals, crank bearings, sand, and polish case halves. Two top pictures are polished just hard to tell with my gruby hands being all over the cases during assembly :)

Took frame swingarm several other small parts to get sand blasted and powder coated silver. Put fresh zinc plating on axle bolt, lock washer, and nut.
